Thanks to dam releases on the Deerfield River we are able to whitewater raft in Massachusetts May – October. The Deerfield River runs through the foothills of the Berkshires Mountains along the historic Mohawk Trail. The river is known for it’s excellent trout fishing and outstanding whitewater rafting. Rafting and funyaking trips vary from mild to wild. The scenery is breath taking and the Deerfield River is clean and clear. From first time families to whitewater fanatics the Deerfield River offers a whitewater rafting trip for all.

A brief overview of the Deerfield river Trips:

Deerfield River – Zoar/Fife Brook Section guided
Fun Class I-III guided whitewater rafting trip, Min. Age 8
10 miles, 4 – 5 hours on river, picnic lunch. Check-in time 10:00 weekends 10:30 weekdays

Deerfield River – Dryway Monroe Bridge Section
Aggressive Class III-IV guidedwhitewater rafting trip, Min. Age 14
2.5 – 3 hours on river, check-in time 8:30 / 9:30 weekdays   Lunch steak and chicken barbecue

Deerfield River Funyaks self guided
Fun easy class I-splashes of class II whitewater, min. Age 5 for double, 10 for single 8 miles, 3 hours on river, riverside snack. Check-in time 2:00

Deerfield River Float Trip Guided Rafting Trip
Fun easy self guided or guide raft trip with class I and splashes of class II , Min. Age 5
8 miles, 3 hours on river, riverside snack, check-in time 2:30
