Our two-day overnight wilderness adventures trip is a wonderful way to explore and enjoy the Kennebec River. We start with an exciting day of inflatable kayaking also know as ” Fun Yaks “. The stars at night are just spectacular from our campsite. The next day we whitewater raft on the exciting class IV and V rapids of the Kennebec Gorge full day trip. Lunch is served along the riverbanks.
The Maine Super Trip is the ultimate Maine adventure. You get two full days of fun and adventure, on the Kennebec River. Paddling your own inflatable kayak on fun rapids, whitewater rafting through the Kennebec Gorge, an optional hike to Maine’s highest waterfall and then you take off from the lake for a float plane Moose Safari and tour of the area. Includes one nights accomadations and five meals.

These 10+ person canoes were usedover a century ago to move goods and
people on the waterways of North America. Our trip is on a swift moving
section of the river and includes stops at The Appalachian Trail and The
Benedict Arnold Crossing where Arnold left the Kennebec River and portaged
up to the DeadRiver in his epic march and assault of Quebec City!
River canoeing allows you time to enjoy Maine’s lakes, rivers and mountains. Maine has some of the nations best canoeing. Moxie offers trips ranging from half day to multi day canoe trips. Wild life abounds on these trips and it is common to see. eagles, ospreys, loons, moose and deer. There is nothing more relaxing than pulling into a remote camping spot after a fun day of paddling. Trips are guided, and include all camping and river equipment.
The Moose River meanders slowly for miles through prime Maine wildlife habitat. This is an excellent 3-4 day canoe trip, suitable for families, scouts and groups. The river is swift moving and is punctuated by several short ledge drops and rapids that can be run, portaged or lined if necessary. There are many river and lakeside campsite along the way. We stop at Holeb Falls to explore the falls, and surprising mountain vistas appear and reappear as the river winds its way to Attean Pond.
