Have you ever wanted to learn how to paddle a kayak? Inflatable kayaks or “FunYaks” resemble kayaks but are inflatable and have open cockpits. They are available in single and double styles, are very maneuverable and require no prior experience to paddle.
We offer a full line raft rentals for The Kennebec and Dead Rivers. Enjoy “ The Painless Private Raft Rental”. Our staff will bring your raft, pfd's and paddles to the dam, greet you, assist you and pick the raft up at the end of your river day! We do all the work to insure you have an outstanding day on the river! 13',14',16' rafts, fishing frames,rowing frames available.
Come join us for a guided hike to Maine's highest waterfall Moxie Falls and mild paddle down the Kennebec River.
Moxie Falls drops 90' into a series of large pools on it's way to the Kennebec River. There are several scenic overlooks to view the falls. The hike is moderate and fun for all ages. The afternoon is spent paddling down the historic Kennebec River in our 10 person Voyageur Canoes, raft or funyaks. Your guides will entertain you with stories of the old frontier, Benedict Arnold, logging and fishing along the Kennebec River. Your trip includes lunch. A wonderful way to experience two of Maine's most beautiful places.
