FULL RIVER - WILD WHITEWATER ADVENTURE!
A Kennebec River whitewater rafting trip offers both exciting Class III-V rapids and moderate Class II whitewater.  This rafting trip is suitable for beginners and experienced paddlers alike.  Each full river trip includes a hearty BBQ lunch and a picture show.  Our menu features chicken, salmon, steak together with baked beans, pasta salad, potato salad and fresh lemonade.  After lunch, you can view the fast action photos taken of your raft.  The full itinerary of your day is outlined below.   Lodging and camping accommodations are available at our riverside campground and Lakeside cabins and camping.

The whitewater rafting action on the full river stretch begins immediately with six miles of continuous, non-stop whitewater adventure. You barely get a chance to catch your breath as the BIG rollercoaster waves toss the raft up and down all the way to Magic Falls Rapid. It’s a wall of water curling back upstream which can stop you dead in the water and make the entire raft disappear . . . like magic. You will definitely get wet!

EXTREME KENNEBEC RIVER HIGHWATER TURBINE TESTS
Mark your calendars for these 2015 extreme releases of 8,000 cfs on the Kennebec River:  June 13, July 6, September 5 and September 19.  The turbines inside Harris Station on the Kennebec River will crank out the maximum possible 8,000 cubic feet per second of water this summer!  Since the average release is 4,800 cfs this is whitewater seen by few.   This water level means huge compression waves crash against the gorge walls and move on down river at an incredible clip.  The guides take a different line down the river aiming for waves and holes that can only be run at this higher level.   It’s extreme whitewater at its best!  Minimum age 12.

MIDDLE RIVER - FAMILY FAVORITE!
The Middle Kennebec river rafting trip is the perfect blend of moderate whitewater and outdoor adventure for families with children ages 6 and older. While the adults raft the upper stretch of the Kennebec river, the young ones are supervised by one of our professional staff members who shuttles them to the middle river put-in. After just a 50 minute separation, the kids jump in your raft to help paddle it down the Middle Kennebec. Rafts will stop at a waterfall or swimming hole to have a snack, and kids often choose to get out of the raft and float through calm water.
